We have introduced and exposed Neo into books early. Somehow, he had shown his appreciation with them and even learned to flip pages around his 6th or 7th month. We just hope that this liking will be sustained as he grows older.
We have acquired quite a number already, mostly gifts from his lola and titas. There are even more books left in Cavite. His early favorite was a hardbound book ROCKY the DOG which unfortunately has already been dis-membered (detached front page).
And below are his latest additions. Pirates of the Carribean stand-up book and Leap Frog Animal trace book both bought by Ritzie from the MV Doulos docked in Cebu this January. The Max the Minnow was acquired last weekend from Pick-a-Book, Robinson's Pioneer. Val was scanning from the pile of books in the shop and he handed this little book to Neo. The boy liked it instantly at ayaw na bitawan!
