Neo's 1st field trip
Friday. January 13 2012. I was on leave.
It was Neo's first field trip. Itinerary: Gardenia Bread Factory and the Sta. Elena Fun Farm. Should be in school by 6:30 AM.
I woke up early that Friday, around 4:00 AM to prepare for the food and things to bring. I didn't cook for lunch baon, I just ordered chicken from Mcdonald's. I woke Neo up at 5:00 AM and dressed him up. We were the first ones to arrive in school. Neo was excited!
We loaded a big bus. Bus # 2 for the Senior Nurseries. The bus didn't leave until 7:00 AM. Neo was restless. Finally, the bus revved up. The trip going to the Gardenia plant was not that long. The kids with their mommies and yayas went to hear the orientation, then to the factory itself. We took some pictures within the vicinity. Neo got a free slice of fresh bread.
Next stop was at the Galingco Land. The makers of chips delight. Parents and guardians were not allowed to get inside with the kids so I just stayed in the bus. After about more than 30 minutes the kids went up the bus. Neo was bathed with sweat but it looked like he enjoyed. He said they cooked cookies inside. He got a packet of cookie which he devoured very quickly. we
It was at the Sta. Elena Fun Farm that had our lunch. Neo didn't eat much. After just about 3 "subo" he flew away to another table and played with classmates. After lunch was free time where everybody explored the place. There were lots to do: horseback riding, boating, fishing, tree house climbing, rope dangling, carabao rides. Neo went to the boat first. I had a hard time pulling him out of the boat. He loved it.
We went next to the horses. He said he liked to ride but changed his mind when he saw the kalabaw. He went riding with three rounds!
A group game was held next with small colored chicks to be chased with eyes-closed kids. Neo didn't get one so I had to ask for one from the game master. He chose a yellow one and named him/her POACHES.
Art works followed. Sand papers were distributed for the kids to draw anything they want. Neo and I drew his favorite, lightning Mcqueen! The pictures were ironed on tshirts to leave imprints. All the kids wore their art .
The day was fun. Neo had a grand time!
