New office

Our company transferred to a new location yesterday. From the 31st floor of the Philippine Stock Exchange, we are now located along Pearl Drive, Ortigas Center.

Neo's got ubo and sipon for the past two days. We brought him to the clinic this morning but there were no doctors that early.

External drive gone bad

Val is not in good spirits lately because his 500 gb external drive crashed. And along crashing with it are collections of pictures of us and the little boy. Also saved on it were his files of events and occasions he covered.

He was able to contact someone who can recover the files but for such a very high cost. Actually, almost the same price as his 500 gb. But, oh well, you can never count the value of what's inside.

Moral lesson: Don't save all your files in one basket... err, drive pala.

Mother's day

Yesterday was mother's day.

I will wait for the day when Neo will actually say "happy mother's day, mommy!" paired with a sweet kiss or a touching card.

A happy, happy day to all mothers who were recipients of loving greetings and thoughtful gestures from their children.

Neo @ 18 months

Neo just turned one year and six months the other day. Well, the list of milestones and new things keeps on going but this is just what I have to say for this period...

he doesn't look like a baby anymore...

he doesn't smell like a baby anymore!

About four or five days ago, Val blurted out, "Neo is going to school this June". And I said, "what?!". I was not prepared for this, at least not at this point yet. Aside from the fact that I think it's still too early for the boy at 18 months, it would definitely be a stress on our finances.

But the father won't budge. The very next day after his announcement, he tagged along the yaya, Ruthie and Neo to the montessori near our home. They all came back to me with positive and encouraging feedback. Neo daw, readily explored the classroom and touched the toys and things in the shelves. He even went with the teacher alone, sat on her lap and listened to her talking.

Now this is something we really have to talk about and consider. The tuition fee indicated 54,000 for the whole year.

Working so, so late
